We have all heard the reports coming out of Nepal, India and Tibet of thousands of deaths, countless injuries and significant property damage caused by the two recent devastating earthquakes. It's estimated that the death toll could reach 10,000 in Nepal and 1.4 million earthquake survivors are struggling due to lack of water, food and shelter.
The Canadian government announced on Monday that it would match all donations made to registered Canadian charities doing earthquake relief in Nepal between now and May 25. If you would like to make a donation to assist these efforts, you can donate online to one of the following charities:

UNICEF, the United Nations Children's Fund, reports that they have saved more children's lives than any other humanitarian organization. The have been working in Nepal for 50 years.
