Royal LePage Launches Powerful New Intranet

April 16, 2015 - Updated: April 16, 2015

First in Canada to be fully integrated with Google Apps for Work™.

Royal LePage Real Estate Services (Royal LePage), Canada’s leading provider of services to real estate brokerages, recently announced the launch of its fully redesigned and re-engineered Realtor® intranet, rlpNetwork.  Reinforcing its commitment to innovation and its focus on equipping its Realtors® with the best tools in the industry, Royal LePage teamed up with technology leader Google, Affinity Systems, a world-class custom software developer, and Akendi Inc., a leader in user experience research and design.

The Royal LePage intranet, the first in Canada to be fully integrated with Google Apps for Work™, connects the company’s 16,000 Realtors®, enabling real-time collaboration, best practices sharing and cross-Canada referrals.

“To ensure a user experience that is second-to-none, the new rlpNetwork is designed with intuitive navigation, including mega menus and a powerful search,” said Carolyn Cheng, senior vice president, Strategic Business Services, Royal LePage. “This allows our Realtors® to quickly and easily access the sales, lead generation, marketing and training tools they need in their day-to-day business.”

“Royal LePage continues to drive Realtor® innovation.  We are delighted to be working with them to deliver best-in-class technology solutions that allow Royal LePage Realtors®  to work faster and smarter,” said Jim Lambe, country manager, Google for Work.

rlpNetwork is also designed in a responsive fashion so that it can be accessed on any device, at any time, from anywhere: a priority for Royal LePage, given that today’s Realtors® are highly mobile.

“We were thrilled to play a role in bringing this industry-leading platform to market,” said Hugh Hyndman, managing director, Affinity Systems. “For ease of use, the bilingual intranet seamlessly interfaces with multiple back-end systems, including e-directory, and incorporates single sign on to a number of integrated applications and tools.”
