Terrequity Children’s Foundation Supporting the Little Geeks Foundation
Terrequity Children’s Foundation (TCF) is pleased to announce its most recent contribution to the Little Geeks Foundation. Terrequity Children’s Foundation has donated $2,500.00 this year that will be put toward the repair and refurbishment of hundreds of computers for children in need.
Making a Difference for the Second Straight Year
This is the second year running that TFC has donated to Little Geeks. Last year $1000.00 was donated and this generous amount allowed the organization to hold 4 distributions and provided 147 desktop computers and 54 laptops to disadvantaged students. It also allowed Little Geeks the opportunity to re-design their website and improve the application and online registration process. Our donation this year will be able to make even more of a difference in the lives of children across the GTA.
About Little Geeks
Founded in 2007, the Little Geeks Foundation is a registered charity that provides computer hardware to disadvantaged families and community service organizations in the Greater Toronto Area. Led by Hamish Sutherland, Little Geeks is a 100% volunteer based charity and their mission is to provide free computing technology and hardware to children who cannot afford it. By providing this access to technology, Little Geeks provides these children with the tools necessary to improve their grades and achieve greater confidence with technology.
TCF would like to thank Jo Citro for recommending that we support the Little Geeks Foundation and for championing the cause internally. We would also like to thank Hamish Sutherland and the board members at Little Geeks for their hard work and dedication to a great cause.
