The Buyer's Agent Development Program

Hiring a Buyer Agent typically occurs in Stage Two of the team development process. Buyer’s Agents are required when the team generates more leads through its marketing systems than the team can handle individually, or if the Team Leader wishes to focus on other aspects of the business.

 

To assist the Team Leaders in developing Buyer Agents, Terrequity will:

  • assist in determining the need for Buyer’s Agents and the required profile (see the Team Profiling Database)
  • promote and conduct career seminars with the Team Leader for Buyer’s Agents
  • assist in the screening of potential candidates, including reference-checking
  • conduct personal profile assessments to assist in best matching personal characteristics to job requirements
  • perform final interviews with the Team Leader
  • assist in completing all hiring documentation

Once the appropriate candidate is selected and hired, Terrequity provides (if required) detailed technical and sales training to ensure that the candidate has the basic skills to conduct their job. This allows the Team Leader to focus on building the business, instead of teaching basic sakes skills. The Team Leader would subsequently provide focused training to the Buyer’s Agent, to ensure that the Buyer’s Agent meets the specific client service preferences of the Team Leader and the team.
