• Select a REALTOR® to work with. REALTORS® simplify every stage of the buying process. Read our tips for Finding the Right REALTOR® or start your search with our Find a REALTOR® tool.
• Let the fun begin! Tour properties with your REALTOR® that meet your Wish List.
• Once you’ve found the perfect home, it’s time to have your REALTOR® prepare an offer, known as the Agreement of Purchase and Sale.
• Negotiate. Many transactions involve negotiation between the buyer and seller’s REALTORS® on the price, terms, and conditions of the offer.
• Offers are often “conditional” before they become “firm” deals. Common conditions include: home Inspection and Financing. Once they’re met, your REALTOR® will prepare a Waiver.
• Contact your mortgage lender and a real estate lawyer to complete all appropriate documents.
